~All Natural~

Our company is founded on principals that help us stand out from other beef companies. We are an established Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch, and beef supplier since 1996, locally located in Bealeton, VA. Our cattle are locally raised. No steroids or hormones are ever used to promote growth, and our beef has absolutely no pesticides or antibiotics, and contains no added MSG.

Our all natural beef is locally processed and vacuum sealed to ensure freshness and preserve the quality of the product. Longhorn beef is a naturally lean meat and low in cholesterol. Because of the low fat content in our beef, it takes less time to cook (see cooking tips below). You no longer have to eat chicken!

We now also offer veal. Our veal is humanely raised. We maintain the same standards in raising our veal calves as we do our beef cattle. No steroids or hormones are ever used, never pen or crate kept! Just like our beef products, you will find that our veal is leaner and lower in cholesterol than typical veal. We carry the same cuts of veal as beef.

Cooking Tips

  1.  Breaking the vacuum seal before you start the defrost will allow the steaks to expand back to the original size to achieve maximum tenderness
  2.  Longhorn beef cooks quickly due to its low fat content; about 30% faster. Fat acts as a n insulator so the heat must penetrate the fat before it begins to cook the meat. Therefore, the less fat the meat has, the quicker the cooking time. Be Careful Not to Overcook It!!!
  3.  There is minimal shrinkage in Longhorn beef when cooking it. The cooked size is very close to the same size that you stared with.
  4.  It is not necessary to cook Longhorn beef in additional fat. It contains just enough natural fat to allow it to cook to perfection.
  5.  If you want to broil, position the meat 3 to 4 inches from heat source. Watch it closely while cooking to achieve desired doneness. Hint: If you want juicier steaks, broil them slightly frozen.
  6.  Longhorn beef roasts should be cooked at 275o degrees F.
